COUNCIL MEETING
Church council will meet on March 3rd at after Bible Study (about 8 PM) in the fellowship hall.

Possibilities for Northern Richland County

There will be a meeting on Monday, March 8 at 7PM to discuss shared ministry in our area. Pastor Lori Miller and Pastor Ron Zoesch expect to be with us and share ideas. You are invited to join us. We expect members from other Lutheran Churches to join us.

SOUP AND BIBLE STUDY

Beginning on Wed. Feb. 24th we will have soup at 6 PM and Bible Study at 6:45. The study is Romans 12 and we will be looking at the marks of a Christian. Come and join us!

SOUPER BOWL
Sunday, Feb 7th after worship

Due to snow.... lots of snow, the collection for Souper Bowl continued on Sunday, Feb. 14. We collected 50 cans on non-perishables and $436.59 in our soup pot. This was given to the FISH Pantry in Shelby to help feed the hungry.

It is now a year since we began reading more Scripture on a daily basis. Family Bible time is a good way to do this. It is also a good time to consider Sunday School, Circles or other group study.

The theme verse for for March is Romans 12:1-2 "I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God--what is good and acceptable and perfect. It is a time to thing and study together about renewing our minds. Help us everywhere to hear the echoes of God's promise to be with us. Renew our lives that they are to your glory.

AMOY SENIORS

Amoy Seniors will meet on Wednesday, Feb.24 th at the church (weather permitting). A trooper from the Highway Patrol will be with us and give us safe driving hints and refresh our view of traffic laws. Plan to join us and bring a friend.
March 24th meeting will have a speaker on garden soil.

Lenten Offering Folders
Folders for quarters are available for special Lenten giving. These gifts will be received on Easter and will be designated for Lutheran World Relief.
There are many other opportunities to help those who suffer in Haiti.
There are opportunities to provide Health Kits or First Aid Kits to be delivered by Ohio Disaster Relief.
